Having the same issue. Affiliated with Deakin University, and gets stuck on "Loading ..." before getting the chance to authenticate. Chrome 79.0.3945.130
EDIT:
Solved the problem- Privacy Badger was blocking the site from authenticating with my University. Allowing tracking allowed authentication :)

Which library are you affiliated with? Do you see the Loading error before or after you are able to submit your institutional credentials?
