Not working in pubmed or publisher website

Here's another example of Kopernio not picking up PDF from pubmed listing, and even the publisher website with free PDF available:

We couldn't reproduce the issue just now - Kopernio located the PDF both on PubMed and Wiley.

Could you please confirm your Kopernio version number? It's located in the top right corner on your account settings page: https://kopernio.com/settings.

Hi Virag,

I tried these same links a second computer and it worked (found the PDF). It is still not working on my desktop on either website. The desktop Kopernio works fine in finding other PDFs (eg https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21869886 works) . Yet https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28265212 does not work on desktop.. Both have plugin 0.8.3 installed.

Thank you so much for your updates - this is really helpful.

Would you be able to share the browser version numbers from both computers?


I could reproduce the issue with the last PubMed record you shared (DOI:10.14503/THIJ-15-5408). I can see that Kopernio doesn't activate on the journal website (THIJ). This is definitely caused by this broken integration with the provider, which I now shared with the engineering team.

Great - I am glad you were able to identify that issue.

The browser that doesn't seem to work all the time is Chrome Version 78.0.3904.70 (Official Build) (64-bit) . The other one has the exact same build number.

To complicate matters further, after I kept trying it, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24118870 now worked on the original computer too! I did not change anything.

So - only the THIJ one remains broken.
