Batch downloads

A publisher blocked our institutional account temporarily because one of our patrons downloaded 100 pdf's in a single session. Apparently he used Kopernio to do so. As far as I know it is not possible to do batch downloads. I would be interested to hear your advice on how to prevent users from downloading too many pdf's in a single session, so our institute does not get blocked again. Is it possible to adjust settings for this?
