Push to EndNote account button cannot distinguish author's first and last names

Solved

I used the Push to EndNote account button to export citation into my endnote web directly. While the citation could be imported into the selected folder of my EndNote web, all authors' first and last names cannot be recognized separately with a comma. It caused issues when the citation is generated based on different journal output style.

I experience kind of the same problem. When using the "push to endnote" function in Kopernio references are imported as "author first name middle name surname" which makes APA style difficult with word-integration that wants the reference as "author surname, first name middle name". Is there a solution for this??

Dear Virag,

I had the same issue, and I can see an improvement now.

However it still happens sometimes. Try this paper for instance https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26402609/

I obtain the following field for the authors:

Aaron,

Erik,

Pierre,

Sachin,

Geoffrey,

Boris,

Jeffrey,

All first names! Maybe this example can help you debug the issue.

Best wishes,

David

Adhering to academic writing standards is also very important. We need to ensure that our English Essay ghostwriting http://www.proessay.cn/our_service1.php complies with academic norms and standards, such as accurate citation and use of references.
