Hi Syed

You can export the PDF and the reference directly from the PDF viewer, or from the so-called smart-extension, which is the drop-down menu of the extension button next to your browser's address bar.

You can also push your PDF to EndNote Online. We have detailed user guides in our help centre for each of the features.

(1) Export to EndNote Desktop: https://kopernio.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360016887274

(2) Push to EndNote Online: https://kopernio.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360015717960

(3) How to use the smart-extension feature in the drop-down menu: https://kopernio.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360018218280

Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Syed,

You can easily export PDFs and references using the EndNote Click mmjnewsnetwork (formerly Kopernio) browser extension. Simply use the PDF viewer or the smart-extension drop-down menu next to your browser’s address bar to export references directly to EndNote Desktop or push them to EndNote Online.

For detailed instructions, check these guides:

  • Export to EndNote Desktop
  • Push to EndNote Online
  • Using the smart-extension feature

This extension also helps you access full-text PDFs via your institution’s subscriptions or open access sources, saving you time and effort. Just make sure to create an EndNote Click account (separate from your EndNote Online account) and link it to your preferred reference manager.
