Curly Taper Fade Haircut Question

I’ve been thinking about getting a curly taper fade haircut, but I’m not sure if it would suit my face shape. I have thick curly hair and I’m looking for a clean yet stylish cut that’s easy to maintain.

I’ve seen a lot of different variations of this haircut, and I’m curious about how to tell which one would look best on me. Should I go with a higher fade or a lower one?

Also, how often do you need to trim the curls to keep the shape looking sharp?
