Common Mistakes to Avoid in University Assignments

Just wanted to begin a thread on assignment errors we have all committed (or almost committed) while at university whether you're a PGCE, undergraduate, or postgraduate.

Some common ones I've come across:

Not answering the question directly.

Poor structure or coherence.

Forgetting to reference properly (easy to slip up!)

Waiting until the very end is typically counterproductive.

If you are studying a PGCE course, such seemingly trivial problems can prove all-important in one's grades, especially if it is a case of lesson planning or relating to theoretical contexts.
