Is there a way to have Kopernio default to downloading the publisher version rather than what may be in the locker, OA alternative, or Google Scholar version?

As Winsome mentioned, this is already the default behaviour of the plugin. I'd be happy to investigate why Kopernio failed on your end. Could you please share the DOI or title of the papers?
